ECOMMERCE
MANAGER

Working as part of a dedicated client Squad, you'll be responsible for developing and executing ecommerce strategies that improve trading performance, conversion, customer experience and commercial outcomes. You'll work closely with Client Success Managers, Growth Coordinators and Ecommerce Directors to ensure initiatives are prioritised effectively and delivered to a consistently high standard.

You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, translating ambitious commercial goals into practical ecommerce initiatives that improve performance. Working alongside your Squad Directors, you'll own the delivery of quarterly ecommerce roadmaps, ensuring strategic priorities are delivered effectively and support measurable commercial outcomes. You'll identify growth opportunities, optimise onsite performance, mentor Growth Coordinators and build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders through commercially grounded ecommerce advice.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Own the ecommerce trading performance and delivery for a portfolio of client accounts.
     

  • Identify opportunities to improve trading performance, conversion, revenue and customer experience, and work with the wider squad to deliver them.
     

  • Own the delivery of quarterly ecommerce roadmaps, ensuring strategic priorities are delivered on time and support measurable commercial outcomes.
     

  • Plan and deliver homepage updates, landing pages, product launches and promotional campaigns aligned with client trading calendars.
     

  • Monitor website performance, analyse trading trends and proactively recommend actions to improve ecommerce performance.
     

  • Produce and present performance reports, insights and strategic recommendations to clients.
     

  • Perform final QA on ecommerce deliverables before client release.
     

  • Identify operational risks and resolve issues before they impact client delivery or trading activity.
     

  • Coach and support Growth Coordinators through regular feedback, quality reviews and development.
     

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of ecommerce processes, ways of working and best practice across the agency.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Essential

  • Strong knowledge of Shopify and ecommerce merchandising best practices.
     

  • Experience developing ecommerce trading plans and optimisation strategies.
     

  • Confident analysing ecommerce performance.
     

  • Experience supporting testing and experimentation to improve ecommerce performance.
     

  • Understanding of ecommerce tracking, commercial measurement and performance reporting.
     

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
     

  • Comfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
     

  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and translate data into practical recommendations.


Desirable

  • Previous experience within an agency or multi-brand ecommerce environment.
     

  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
