Founded by leading hair colourist Shaun Pulfrey in London in 2007, Tangle Teezer began life as an idea in a salon and has grown to become a global business that has sold over 50 million hairbrushes worldwide and is synonymous with innovative design.
THE CHALLENGE
The business needed to transition from Shopware to an ecommerce platform more suited to their brand and growth aspirations, especially in international direct-to-consumer online retail.
The client had a top tier partner in place for migration and web build, but had an outgoing ecommerce lead creating a gap in continuity and leadership. Tangle Teezer required comprehensive site build stewardship, as well as general ecommerce trading and growth support.

We ended up extending our support beyond the initial project scope, embedding Ometria into the tech stack for CRM, and to guiding across SEO and PPC components of the migration, where gaps, original scope oversight or nuance arose during the process.
